“Another rip off”

★★☆☆☆

written by dtMcKee88 on 18/08/2014

Machine leaks from inner seal/diapragm on the circulation pump causing warning light to flash. Miele used to sell this item (shown as No.112 on their pump blow up parts diagram)for around £15.00. But they have decided to stop selling this separately so they can tear your eyes out for a new circulation pump at £264.00.

Cheaper to buy another machine!

Had the same issue, you can get the impeller and seal as a package for around £80 alternatively as I did to mine I went to a local chandlers and obtained a tube of dow sealant that had sealing properties between -75 degrees and + 150 degrees.

it has worked smoothly again since.

Yes, I used a similar product called "geocel" which is specifically for water leak/seal applications. Available in plumbers merchants or B&Q
