Just took an hour to cancel my Sky subscription - laughable.
Then I was told because I was in my notice period I would not be getting a call from tech support - who by the way could not talk to me now becasue they were very busy with the football - watching it I presume!
Additionally even though the sky update has stopped my sky go working I am still expected to pay for my non working service, even though they will not fix it!, for the 31 day notice period.
Only a few quid, but it becomes a point of principle - looking into claiming my money back under non-performance of contract, and definitely not paying anymore.
A warning to anybody that is thinking of joining Sky - DO NOT if anything goes wrong the customer service / support is worse than laughable.
I have been a full movies / sports customer for 15 years, but I will not be back ever, and I will be spreading the word about watching free on freesat etc and joining me down the pub for the sport, watching it on dodgy greek satellite services!
Now off to spread the word on an many forums as possible
