Just by glancing at the reviews for the Pentax K-R, you can see that it is a liked item. TestFreaks give the camera a 9.4/10, and Amazon users give it a 5/5 star rating. All reviews tend to compare it to Nikon and Cannon, and say it more than comes out as an equal to both competing companies. The K-R is a follow up camera for the K-X, and is noted to have some nice changes, such as faster auto focus, better High ISO performance, and a lithium battery instead of using AA?s. There is also an adapter for AA?s, if desired, although the adapter reviews poorly due to it?s
