The TZ series compact super zooms from Panasonic have proved to be hugely popular with reviewers and, on the whole, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 is proving to be no different. Users on CNET awarded it a perfect 5 out of 5 and on Amazon it received a positively glowing 4.5 out of 5. The image quality, fast response time, video mode and the sturdy design and build are all raved about amongst users. As is the functionality, which boasts an Intelligent Auto mode and is reportedly easy to use and not at all intimidating for newcomers to photography. Another of its many flashy features is inbuilt GPS. Some users have found this to be a bit of a redundant addition that drains the battery, whereas others enjoy the fact they?ll know exactly where their pictures were taken (surely they must have been there?!).The issue of battery life pops up in several write-ups, with reviewers pointing out it might be worth buying a spare. However, just as its predecessors, the TZ10 has been given an A+ report it should be proud to take home to its mum.
