The Toshiba Camileo S20 has received mixed reviews from consumers. Cnet consumers have given this camcorder an average rating of 3 star, whereas Amazon consumers decided to give it a 4 star. The camcorder is small, which is great for taking on holiday, although this does mean that the controls will be quite small, which may be a problem for people with larger fingers.

Many consumers found that the picture quality during daylight was excellent, however wasn't so great in low light conditions. The camcorder does produce good still pictures, although they won't be as great as the one's you would capture from digital cameras, claim some consumers. Some consumers are disappointed that the camcorder does not have zoom focus, this means that if you are recording a performance and want to zoom into a particular part, this won't be possible with the Toshiba Camileo S20 camcorder. Despite all this the camera does have a long battery life, which is great news if you have limited places to charge it.
