The 808 series of camera's are camcorder's mounted in a key fob case only available from ebay and have improved & developed over a long period. They are manufactured in China & generally have to be purchased from there. The 808 camera variants have been identified by Chuck Lohr's site and I`m reviewing a #15 here. I should have mentioned, webcam resolution on mine is 1280x720 pixels, but on some firmware variants its 640x480.
The camera is also referred to as a DVR-053, but no-one sells them with that designation.
Take care when choosing, higher variant numbers do not necessarily mean a better model, see (name removed) website for precise model info.

I must add that I was in error when I stated 'recordings in 5 minute chunks with a few seconds lost between each' There are in fact no frames lost between recordings.
Having now used this on Windows I should report that Windows will ask for a webcam driver, but there is none available, however it still functions but at a lower resolution than Linux, which does not ask for a driver & works at the full 1280x720 resolution.
