I joined Unislim Online back in July 2011, after I had made a the conscious decision to change my lifestyle. I had worked hard to lose weight (nearly a stone) and found that I just needed that extra something to reach my goal.
Once I joined Unislim online the pounds fell off,I have gone from a size 14 to a size 8. I have to say that joining Unislim has been the best decision I've ever made. I became more active and took up running,completing several 10k runs and the Kildare Half Marathon in 2012. I have followed the Low GI diet and continue to do so (I must admit I hate using the word diet, it's a lifestyle choice not a diet!). This meal plan has been an excellent guide for me and has helped me stay on target. I have recommend Unislim to so many of my friends and family. With my mother taking inspiration in my progress she too joined Unislim last year and has lost an amazing 3 stone. I love the online profile and picking out my weekly meals - all of which are family friendly. It's fantastic that there is a record of your progress for your entire Unislim journey. The weekly inspirational and motivational messages you receive from the Unislim staff members are refreshing and very helpful and I look forward to my weekly emails. The one thing that I have learned from Unislim is that portion size is key. You have to retrain your mind to accept the portion sizes. My very first Unislim meal was a pasta meal - I weighed out the pasta, like 20 shells and I thought to myself there's not a hope in hell that will fill me up. I was wrong!! I would encourage everyone that begins their Unislim journey to be persistent, follow the meal plans, measure and weigh out everything and you will succeed.
