“Tesco diets. Dieting made a bit more bearable ”

Let's be honest, any diet that someone has gone to the effort of presenting to us WILL work. The question really is can WE BOTHER to make it work.
The principles of dieting are easy - expend more energy than you consume and you will lose weight. Any diet that ISN'T a calorie controlled diet is a complete waste of time - that's a scientific FACT, it cannot be disputed by any intelligent person (you've got to be stupid to think you can ever lose weight without following this one basic principle)

SO what does the tesco diet bring us then?
Convenience, pure and simple.
It's nothing new, just a computer generated calorie controlled diet.
It allows us to build a weekly menu of generic meals :- easy, convenience foods; proper home cooked meals; low GI; Diabetic; Lactose intolerant ...
Then it allows us to change any meals we really don't fancy - for me anything without meat, vegetables are just a side dish never a complete meal.
To finish it off it generates a shopping list, and if you like, it exports the list to online shopping, not just with Tesco.com but with their rival supermarkets too.
So basically tesco diets helps to make life easier for me, just as the Kleeneze online shop can do for you too try it out at http://www.kleenezeshop.com/?AffiliateId=779

Tesco diets isn't perfect, but it saves a lot of effort coming up with the weeks meals and, remarkably for a company the size of Tesco, they listen to suggestions for improvements from their customers.
Overall a fantastic aid to managing family health, diet and grocery budget too.

Yes, I've tried the light choices plan with the optional recipe club, which was okay, but my biggest problem on diets is always feeling hungry, so I changed over to the low GI diet.
Generally I'm feeling that I don't want to eat as much. I've been on the diet for 6 weeks and lost over 6 lbs, so, so far so good.

Fantastic, that is a great result. GI seems to suit you better.
Good luck with getting to your goal.
