This diet really suited me. I chose a low fat diet as I knew from past experience this is often the easiest to follow. If it's got a lot of fat in it you don't eat it (apart from special occasions). The weekly menus given to me I tended to amend to suit my needs. It was useful to know that I could exceed the 1200 calories to make sure I was eating enough vegetables. The fact that I could add certain foods to the menus and see instantly how it affected my fat/calorie intake was brilliant. I found it easier personally to keep to the same breakfasts everyday (previously I never ate breakfast)and my lunches were not varied - this was my choice as I love food and find that if I have too much choice it makes me want to eat more. The diet was so flexible I had the choice to go with what was offered and edit the meals a little or swap meals entirely or sometimes just add my own menus which I could adapt and see how they affected my daily calorie/fat intake.
I would and have recommended this diet to my friends.
