The sheer volume and variety of the different diets Tesco offers means membership is well worth it, particularly if you are a Tesco shopper. You can change your diet plan very easily and there's lots of different ideas to choose from e.g. Med Diet, Low G.I. Diet, High Fibre, Little Black Dress, etc. The online calculator is excellent in that it tells you how much fibre, sat fat and carbs you eat in a day - a much better way to teach you about balance and nutrition than a basics point calculator like Weight Watcher has. The odd thing is though that when you type a food into the search engine, it's very difficult to find it and I've often had to'create my own food', even with a Tesco product!
The online community is what really lets Tesco down but I understand they are working on this at the moment. The blog and forum functionality is extremely frustrating - slow, lots of things don't work and when you ak for help, it sounds as if no-one really knows what's going on.
In a nutshell, if you're looking for a great selection of diets which can be changed around, you can't go wrong. If you want a better online community experience, go to Weight Watchers, at least for now.
