I found lighterlife easier than most diets; no calorie counting or meal planning helps keep things simple, and the speed of the weight loss makes it quicker than most diets which also helped me stick to it. The hard bit is challenging and working to change your attitude to food. Stick to it and you will learn so much about yourself and how you use food. Being overweight is not simply because you're greedy, it's the emotional and habitual side which causes a lot of peoplkw to over eat. Lighter life aims to give you the tools you need to break, what in my case is, self harming behaviours. Sounds like some Gabe been unlucky with their councilors, but its also down to you to take it seriously. If you don't change your eating habits and eat like you did before the diet of course the weight will go back on. That's not lighter life's fault!
I lost 8 stone in 7 months. Keeping it off his hard with 29 years of learned bad habits, but with the tools all gave me I'm hopeful that it'll stay off.
