“Done well on W8 diet”

I'm not the most motivated in the world when it comes to dieting. I love food and I love wine, and sometimes have both to excess. I'm not overweight as such, although on occasion I have sniffed around closer to a 14 at the larger end of a 12. :o) I exercise and am generally quite healthy, but tend to fluctuate and as I mentioned, on occasion I have ended up with a stone more than I'd like. My ideal weight is 65 kilos (according to ME, not some BMI or ideal-weight measurement) and at this weight I'm a size 10/12 (I'm 5'6 tall).

At one of those times when my weight had nudged past the dreaded 70 kilos, I tried W8 For Life. In three weeks, the excess stone had fallen off - it was incredibly quick and I wouldn't say I'm someone who loses weight easily. I've tried both Atkins and Dukan before with absolutely no luck whatsoever.

A couple of years later, and after a stubborn injury from running (once I'd lost the weight I've been eating as much as before but gone running more often, so thanks to exercise kept it off) meaning I haven't been able to run as often or as far as before, I've unfortunately let myself slip into a bit of a eat-and-drink-and-be-merry patch and once again my weight is at 70 kilos and my skinny jeans taunting me from the closet in all their slim glory. :o)

So, I've ordered a couple of weeks' worth and confident it'll come off as quickly as it did last time. Three weeks perhaps.

Yes, the first four or five days ARE rotten. Your body has to readjust where it takes the energy from and I get headaches and crave carbs so much it's driving me crazy. But I know that after this, it becomes easy. Besides, a good portion of celery to snack on, and adding mushrooms to the spaghetti bolognese mealpak in the evening, it's not so bad.

I would recommend this for people like myself - who want to see results quickly, who'd rather take one full-on patch of dieting than lose 1lb/week for months on end. I can't deal with lenghty suffering.

Of course the way to keep the weight off, the key is to either ensure your eating habits are different from before and/or adding exercise. But W8 is a great way of blasting those lbs off, and because it happens quickly, it's easy to stay motivated!
