I started the Go Lower progamme at the end of February, on the advice of my dietician. I was another who had tried everything and nothing stuck, or worked long term.
I have had a few problems when I haven't lost any weight, but the customer service is excellent and they have a nutritionist always happy to offer advice, or re-tailor the plan to jump start the loss again.
One of the main reasons I liked the sound of the diet was the no exercise, because I am disabled a cannot do any.
I have found the loss slower than suggested. But the diet is easy to stick to, with a real variety, so you don't lose faith and it's easier to say no to temptation
I am still struggling with the lose weight week, none the next, but I have found that by following the plan for a week then alternating with cutting out the cereals/yoghurt and having eggs/bacon instead, for breakfast, is helping.
The meals really are delicious and have in fact broadened my diet as I tended to eat the same dish day in, day out til I was sick of it, then I'd move on to another and do the same. Now I actually look forward to having a really flavoursome meal each day and I don't get sick of the choices as there are so many.
In the beginning I found the soups overpowering in flavour, but merely added some water and after a couple of weeks when I was weaned off all the artificial flavours my body was used to, started having them full strength and I love them.
I have to say though, my very favourites (apart from the couple of chocolate covered rasperries I'm allowed once a week) are the granola cereals. They are gorgeous and now I've tracked down the best low carb natural greek style yoghurt to have with them, a perfect start to the day.
All in all I would recommend. It is expensive, but I didn't get this way overnight, and if I added up all the "treats" I have had over the years, that made me need to lose this weight, it is is probably only a fraction.
