I staretd sole source 9 weeks ago and have lost 3 stone. The diet is very easy to follow as you only eat/drink 3 cambridge diet products a day. My counsellor has been amazing and so so supportive which has made a massive difference. You need to really want to loose weight and learn about your eating habbits to do this diet. It has really opened my eyes and made me realise that half the time I didn't even register that I was eating. I have also been able to high light that certain situations drive me to eat like stress and now I deal with those without hitting the biscuit barrel. You must drink plenty of water on this diet and I have also taken extra fibre too but the results have been AMAZING. I didn't suffer any side effects and have felt incredible throughout. I still have 2 stone to loose and am now going up to sole souce plus which allows me a little protein and veg each day...... believe me plain chicken has never tasted so good. I had tried every diet imaginable but wish i had done this years ago. All my friends have told me as soon as I eat i will put it all back on...... in answer to them yes if i go back to the way i used to eat then yes i will, as you would on any diet. But i have learnt so much now that i am in control of food and not the food being in control of me. Good luck to all Cambridge dieters and especially any new starters. :-))

Thanks for the good wishes!! I'm only 3 days in and determined to succeed. Although I think that the porridge has a slight aftertaste of sweetener, I love it and am surprised that I have enjoyed the shakes and soups that I have tried. I have experienced hunger pangs, as I would normally before a meal, but find that the Cambridge products are very satisfying. To date, I have nothing negative to say about this diet. The only extra thing that you need is willpower. After reading about some of the amazing results achieved, I am so inspired . I am keeping a daily diary, just for myself, so that I stay focused and will be able to record my progress. I also wish that I had done this years ago and am already thinking about becoming a counsellor myself. I'll let you know how I get on!!

I wish you so much luck and hope the plan continues to suit you. To date I have lost 5 stone and am 5 pounds away from my final goal. I feel totally amazing and am now on step 3 so having carbs again whuch is lovely. I have learnt to see food in a totally different way and I am in control stay focused and keep me up to date if it helps to keep you focused. You can do this!!
