B & B.

Needed a place to stay for the night and saw their sign for B & B. Room looked ok at first glance. Once we settled in:- could hardly get any water in the kettle, it wouldn't fit under the tap then found there was no milk for the tea/coffee. (Could of asked but shouldn't need to )No handles on inside of ensuite doors so had to sit on the loo with the doors ajar. Cracked hand basin. Towel rail hanging off the wall. Shower cubicle drain very slow with a danger of overflowing. Wanted an early start but breakfast not served til 9am, so got held up there. Someone left their vacuum cleaner at the top of the stairs with the wire trailing down to the bottom, not to one side but strewn over the stairs and a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the upstairs hall. Breakfast was not too good. Coffee came first, toast 10 minutes later and the half full plates 10 minutes after that. Sausages were not very nice. Could of done with 2 eggs, another rasher of bacon, some mushrooms and a few more beans and I'm not a big eater. In all, it could have been a lot better, just glad we stayed for one night only.
