Staines store management are appalling!

I am a regular shopper in the Staines and Feltham Matalan, the staff at the tills are always helpful and friendly in staines however today I witnessed a member of staff being treated in a demeaning manner by a management member. As I had been in the queue for the customer service desk one staff member had to require permission to leave the tills to use the toilet whilst another member could stand in her place and relieve her. The manager had phoned in to refuse her to leave the tills. I was shocked at the way she was treated for a health and safety issue. I hate to imagine how else the staff members are treated by their managers after all if that was my son or daughter being refused I would be even more deeply upset!
