I ordered a coffee table from M&S and was given a day and a 2 hour time frame for when it would be delivered. After the time frame had passed I rang them to see if it was still on its way. At this point they told me it was not going to turn up and could not give me a reason why. I was just put on hold and had to hang up after a long wait.
I was mainly annoyed about not being informed about anything. I received multiple text messages that week reminding me of the day and time of delivery but nothing to tell me it was no longer possible.
This level of service is highly unacceptable. I trusted M&S as it is such a huge, long-time running company so they should know what they're doing by now but unfortunately not. I would not recommend this company to anyone and would highly advise you look elsewhere, especially for furniture! I'm still left in the dark about delivery/refund as I'm put on hold rather than spoken to.
