Bought 2 pieces it luggage from house of fraser in August of 2013. the zipper on one of the luggage is broken and the material on the corner of the case has also frayed. Went in store today to have it exchanged as comes with a 10 year manufacturers warranty. Manager on duty advises the can only repair the broken zip and that the frayed bit is down to wear and tear. Seriously, I am not stupid neither is this the first time i have bought or suitcase or traveled. I find the level of service unacceptable - I expect some level of wear and tear on any suitcase but for a suitcase that comes with a 10 year warranty and also a quality and durability card highlighting material strength, etc, I would not expect it to start fraying in less than a year. I have a credit card with them and based on this experience will be closing my account and NEVER SHOP with HOF again. They are not an exclusive store - competitors like Debenhams & John Lewis offer better service.
