i bought a fairly expensive dress for a wedding out of debut at debenhams , got to wear it for 5 hours b4 it started coming apart at the seams . Decided to take it back because all the stitching was terrible asked for a credit note or exchange of the exact same dress .Well i was told flatly no , because debenhams does not consider a dress falling apart after 5 hours of wear as a fault and the seamstress would stitch it back up .I had to leave the shop with the exact same dress and new stitching but they did not fix the other bad stitching only the seam that had totally come away .I know if i wear that dress again other parts of the stitching will come out .So to anyone out there my considered opinion of debenhams is that they only care about profits, certainly not about customer satisfaction ,do they honestly forget that we the general public spend our good hard earned cash in there and pay there wages .
