“Terrible customer service”

I purchased a £25 Gift card because there was a sign saying " OUR GIFT TO YOU, Buy a £25 gift card and we will give you a voucher for £5" In very small writing underneath it said, terms and conditions apply.These terms and conditions should be on the sign. When I read the conditions (Bearing in mind that you had to have already spent £25 to be able to do so) it stated that you had to spend £25 in a single transaction to use it and it has to be used by December 23rd. The gift card, which I has bought for an 80th birthday now has to be used in 1 transaction to be of any benefit.

I called Customer service(0844 number)to complain only to spend 22 minutes on the phone and for them to tell me what I already knew. It is wrong for a company to use this kind sprat to catch a mackerel promotion. I will never shop in BHS again
