Great greek dentist, nice modern facilities but management ineffective and unprofessional. After receiving incorrect advice regarding home tooth whitening I had discolouration and swelling of my gums and no improvement in the colour. Following discussion with 'management' (in inverted commas as no one introduced themselves so I wasnt quite sure who anyone was), it was suggested I could pay (at cost price) for more bleach (even though it was because of the lack of/incorrect advice that the treatment hadnt worked). While I was reading the info re to tooth whitening (I had suggested it might be a good idea for patients to be given written info), a member of staff produced some expired vials of bleach from her handbag which she said were good for a year. However, afterwards when I'd had time to reflect, I was not satisfied with how my complaint had been handled and so wrote to the practice. It took 6 weeks to get a resolution and that was only after several phone calls from myself re the lack of response. I was constantly fobbed off, being told the manager was on holiday or was bereaved. I couldnt understand why no one else could deal with my complaint in her absence. Unsurprisingly, I left the practice very soon after which was unfortunate as the dentist was excellent.
ps I'm still waiting on a reply to my letter of complaint to the owner of the practice and that was last year!

After Reading your review it sounds exactly the same as the problems I came across with the same practice!
Out of date products, fobbed off when trying to talk to the manager, no remorse for the damage they had done and I found it very suspicious that only Forign dentists have worked there who only stay for a year then leave!
The so call treatment co-ordinator who again was new from the last one I saw had NO IDEA who I was or what treatment I'd had or what I needed done!!
After months of all this stress I'd finally had enough and am now taking legal action agains them for medical negligance.
I have been lied to about treatment I was supposed to be getting and now my teeth are ruined! So badly that I will have to wear dentures for the rest of my life!
Also, as far as I am aware there should be no personal relationships between employees but at ocean drive THE MANAGER Is currently in a relationship with another employee.

I would be eternally greateful if you would or could be a kind of reference/evidence for my law suit. If not, even a letter to the GDC telling them your story would help me massively.

I hope u can help me in some way as my life is ruined by them!!

Surgerys like this NEED to be reported as they are making millions of pounds and don't give a toss what damage they cause people.
Ps the owner also owns a yachting company abroad plus othere muli million pound investments!
