Manipulating clients and reviews! Only 5 Star Reviews? Ha! I wrote Dental Departure and asked why there were only 5 star reviews. I try to upload a review on a dental clinic that almost cost me my life, but they wouldn't upload it, I sent it in person and care@ which promise to upload and get back to me, and nothing. On their recommendation I went for a implants procedure in Dental clinic Cancun and almost lost my life ,was a several days in coma is Cancun and long recovery. they wouldn't upload my review and others as long as it's negative experience. Now I know they supporting bad clinics just to gain $$ , DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WEBSITE/COMPANY. I wish I would know it sooner!

I contacted Dental Departures with the idea that their role was to be an advocate and resource for me for safe and trustworthy dental tourism in Mexico. As it turned out, it seems they worked more for the clinic they referred me to and did not represent me at all when there were up pricing issues and abandonment issues (left at the border after an appointment because shuttle service didn't wait for me to get thru customs). GRANTed, I think I was tricked.

I, called Dental departures for a dentist to get implants in Mexico. They suggested one that has been a nightmare. I'm not going into details nor am I giving the name of the clinic. Anyrate, the reason I'm here to review is to give Dental Departure's 5 stars. BTW this nightmare just happened last week. So, I decided I'm not going to try to deal with the clinic and make the BLOTCHED and WRONG job, right, I tried dealing with them and it just turned into a BIGGER BLOTCH job and lots more money out of my pocket. So, I decided I'm going to call Dental Departure, and my rep. that I have dealt with through this is EMILIO and let him know what was going on, and he brought his manager into the situation. BOth of them have been amazing. THey both went over the middle man( who I've dealt with) and went to the owner and they both are making sure all this mess will be fixed.( everyone please pray if does, its my 3rd time dealing with them messing all this up and making my teeth look hideous) Emilio and his manager both have gone to bat for me against this clinic and gone that extra mile to make sure all this wrong will be right. I will be going back to Mexico , the clinic September 13th and I'll put a new review on how that goes. As of now , I give KUDOS to Dental departures, Emilio, and his manager to have my back on all this and help me get the implants that I've always dreamed of.

I booked with Dental Departures, everything went according to plan, the price was quoted, and was honored. All in all my experience was great

They quoted me a price they still advertise. They kept adding charges. When I called Supreme Dental. They said I was never quoted that price. Wow. I went back to emails. The original quote link is no longer valid. What I do have us some text in an email asking so is the original price quoted still available, 16 800, dated June, 2020. Everything else is gone. These guys are creepy. I am so sorry I ever heard of them. The reviews look good. But they are deceptive. I have seen many others here fall victim to the same sham.

It can be a daunting thought, going into a foreign country to get Dental work done! Ignorance and shallow rumor can be prohibitive. This site, Dental Departures, was super helpful to me in reviewing different Dental Offices in Nogales Mexico, bordering Arizona, actually being able to review PRICING UP FRONT!! There may be some variance, but it seems in hindsight to be fairly accurate. Also, on this site, you can read user-reviews of each facility, see pictures, determine who has an onsite lab to do same-day procedures that frequently take multiple visits. I can honestly laud & recommend this 'referral' site. I imagine they get a small payment from the businesses, don't know, but it is NOT a jack-up-the-price-middleman. OPEN, VALUABLE, ACCURATE INFORMATION!!! What a blessing these days on the Internet. By the way, I AM getting Dental Work done at an office I researched on this site & commend the accurate information now from experience! Cudos, guys!

My fiance needed some major dental work that was prohibitively expensive in the US. After doing a lot of research online, I called Dental Departures, a dental tourism agency that works people to help the find the best dental clinics all over the world. I worked with two people, both of whom were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Even with the Covid-19 restrictions in place, they were able to find us a clinic in Playa del Carmen that did not have any travel restrictions and had very good reviews. They arranged a call directly with the dentist, and they set up an appointment for a consultation at the clinic. When we got Playa del Carmen, the appointment went well, but we felt we needed a second opinion due to the price and treatment plan we were given. We called Dental Departures that night. They agreed with our concerns and were able to book us a last minute appointment the next morning with a very reputable clinic in Cancun called Dentics. They arranged for us to be picked up by the clinic's driver, so we didn't have to worry about the hour long trip to Cancun or figuring out how to get there. We spoke with the two people every step of the way - they were constantly following up with us and the clinic to be sure we were properly taken care of. We ended up with a much more thorough and extensive treatment plan with Dentics in Cancun and the cost was significantly less than the first clinic we visited. The quality of work, patient care and compassion with Dentics was extraordinary and they did a wonderful with every detail and procedure. We could not have found the quality of care and affordable pricing to get this done without the help of the staff at Dental Departures. I would highly recommend them without hesitation to my friends, family, or anyone who needs quality dental care without having to spend their life's savings.

Was told it would be 60-80 per tooth but came out to 200 per tooth then when I got there they thought I only wanted one tooth out and got mad at me because I wanted all four out and that would cause the other patients to wait longer

I chose a dental clinic based on the services offered, according to DD's website, and made an appointment. The clinic does not offer the services I had booked, but instead sends patients to another clinic. Patients are also expected to undergo additional testing not mentioned on the DD website. Finally, I had assumed that all dentists recommended would speak good English. This is not the case.

I know everybody has a different experience. What I was expecting to have done and what the dentist did were two separate things. The work was not so good and when I contacted the referring company(Dental Departures) to complain I was pretty much told.....too bad.No avenue for recourse. These companies can talk you in circles and there is pretty much no help for you if things don't go as planned. I'm sure good work is done by some of their affiliates but my experience was not good at all. I would not recommend this company at all.

When planning a trip to the Yucatan in Mexico, I decided to try and get some dental work done while there. US dentistry is very expensive and I have had experience with excellent dental work in Mexico for a fraction of the cost. I'm usually self reliant in finding someone like a dentist but somewhere came across the website for dentaldepartures.com. They had a long list of dentists in Cancun, each one reviewed by patients, most had websites and their price lists were posted (a big range in prices so you can shop around). One convenience for me was showing where the clinics were located on the local map, which is how I chose the dentist I did. He was professional, courteous, funny and kind, a pleasure to work with. He was honest about what was really needed and did good work. I will recommend dental departures to anyone traveling if they need dental work.

I was apprehensive about going to Los Algodones, MX but it was a great experience having dental work done for a small fraction of the price in the US and with state of the art equipment and done in 2 days rather that 4 visits over a month. I highly recommend Supreme Dental. Very friendly, professional and caring.

Amazing treatment, amazing team. Doctor Betul is a super star but the whole team is also super nice. Highly recommended!
