I bought this in the sale, I wouldn't of paid full price, not because its not worth it but because its a lot of money,
If you follow the instructions to the letter it will work. anyone who says their chips didn't cook/broke or went mushy didn't use it correctly or used potatoes that wernt for chipping.
You MUST cut them the same size as much as you can ( I did mine pretty big,like from a chip shop) also you MUST rinse after cutting and dry with a clean tea towel.
I put actifry on for ten mins to warm before putting in chips and oil,ive used it a few times now and everytime they have been perfect.
If you own a deep fat fryer you may take a while to get used to this as it takes a lot longer and may not taste like you are used to, i didn't so they were yummy, but a friend of mine didn't like it but they own a deep fat fryer.
Cant wait to try some more recepies.
