We bought an actifry when thay first hit the market and at first I was really pleased as it cooked really well . Just before the year guarantee was due to expire it caught fire quite unexpectidly so I contacted the company i had bought it through and they were helpful and rep[laced it so I had a new 1 year guarantee. It was going fine and then just 2 days after the years guarantee had ended the same thing happened . I wrote constantly to Tefal re this obvious fault in the model but got knowhere , they refuse to offer any form of either replacement or reduced price to renew the item . So it ended up in the bin . I would never recommend this product to anyone or purchase any tefal product again as considering there are so many complaints about these fryers going wrong tefal refuse to accept that there is a fault and their customer service is poor.
