Help when I needed it.

I was £30.000 in debt. More paying out than was coming in. More loans to pay debts so more debts . Living off credit cards until I was at maximum and at my wits end. I rang a debt agency and was going to go with them but I would be paying then£200 a month for the privalidge. Anyway I read on the internet about debt charities and called Stepchange. It was difficult baring my soul to them and telling them how much I owed.
Anyway, they drew up a debt plan and organised repayment with my creditors. It was that simple. I thought the repayments were harsh at first and I had no credit cards or extra cash. They took charge and I didn't have to worry about anything. I had yearly reviews and anytime I called them they were understanding , kind, helpful and non judgemental. I have paid my debts and am now free of them.
I am saving for what I need now and credit cards and loans are a thing of the past.
