Life Changing

I contacted StepChange at a very low point in my life. I was struggling to repay a bank loan and credit cards...entirely my own fault. My income changed and my lifestyle did not! I was stressed, weepy and unable to sleep...and ashamed.

From my first contact with StepChange I felt as if a weight had been lifted and that there was a way forward. Every person I spoke to at StepChange was supportive and reassured me that having taken the steps to resolve my financial mess, I was on the right path.

We worked out a budget that was affordable and then they liaised with my creditors to make monthly payments. I paid a regular monthly sum and the fear was gone.

I am now DEBT FREE !!!!! This week I even received a card from StepChange congratulating ME. The feeling is amazing...but I will NEVER forget the relief of my first conversation with StepChange

I would advise anyone with debt problems to contact StepChange as soon as possible. It was the most sensible thing I have ever done.
