End of the tunnel

This may all sound cliched I know but I had a very bad relationship that ended and left me in a large amount of debt. The future didn't look good financially and my DMP with Step Change (CCCS as it was then) was recommended by my bank.
The advise and explanation of how things worked was easy to digest and the advise and support I got was wonderful. I remember feeling very embarrassed, lost and scared at the time, but the lady at the end of the phone helped me through it all. Once we had worked out everything my debt was more than I thought, but the budget plan has worked well for me. The annual review made sure I didn't slip back into the void and when November 2015 came round I actually remember thinking there was 'a light at the end of the tunnel' with a smile. Now i'm debt free (God that feels good to say) and I can move forward again. The darkness has gone and there is only light there now. It may be difficult and embarrassing at times to consider taking out a DMP, but if you need to do this then do it. it works.
