Hi,

Spend spend spend, on the never never.

I never had a credit card unti I got married, I was 30yrs of age!
My mother who was born in 1930 new all there was to know about thrift and living within your means. She instilled this common sense approach to my three brothers and me....it worked for 30yrs.

I don't blame my getting into debt on anyone but myself, it was so easy, like putting on weight I guess, easy to gain weight but hard to lose it, same with debt.

Through umpteen credit cards, loans, overdraft, remortgage, it crept on us until it became blatantly obvious it was no longer mangeable.
We had our last family holiday abroad, paid partly from an insurance payout when I had been seriously ill, that focusses the mind i can tell you.

My wife and I discussed our options, I had being doing some searches on the internet for solutions to our problems. I came across CCCS, I was impressed by their willingness to hep without being judgemental.

We set up our DMP through CCCS, without any major stumbling blocks, the staff are so helpful.
We've been on our DMP coming up for 2yrs, most creditors are very understanding, a couple are less accomodating.
Without CCCS things looked very bleak, but thanks to them we are on the road to be DEBT FREE.
