I cant thank and praise Burgess Bowen highly enough, I originally spoke to Steve who explained everything to me, I was a bit doubtful at first about paying an initial arrangement fee as Ive read about so many dodgy companies and scams but I can assure you this company are different. They have taken control of all my debts and deal and speak to all my creditors on my behalf. I have been with Burgess Bowen for 18 months until recently, as my debts have been cleared off & how relieved I am now that all my debts have been sorted. About 2 years ago i realised all of a sudden that my debts had become too much - it just crept up on me to be honest. I contacted the citizens advice bureau and booked an appointment to see them which I had to wait 6 weeks for. I made an application for a loan a few months back to consolidate all my debts, unfortunately i wasnt able to get one but I ended up speaking with Burgess Bowen and I literally feel like they've saved my financial bacon! I jus make one monthly payment to them now, my debts have finally stopped bombarding me but i still get my monthly statements from them and when i do get concerned they are just one call away. What a mess these guys have left me in! 6 months i have paid these £217. My creditors are still contacting me and haven't recieved a penny. They never told me their fees and implied there wasnt any. They also said they were a government agency and could wipe off my debts. My debts are actually larger than when i started. Companies can offer the service for cheaper as well. I am left trying to sort these out myself and their customer service skill were dreadful. Thanks guys. Not! (read more)

I tried dealing with all my creditors on my own and it was just a nightmare, all my debts just kept piling on more charges onto my accounts and it was just a never ending black cloud hanging over my head. Burgess Bowen now manage all my debts for me, but even better the interest on all my accounts has been frozen since they took over so at least i'm paying towards clearing my debt rather than just paying the interest every month. I originally spoke with Stephen who completed a full financial assessment of my current financial position. He literally went through all my outgoings, even down to how much i spend per week on pet food! It was a very thorough but worthwhile process as I was able to mutually agree with Stephen a way forward out of my complicated debt issue.
