Travelex advertise you can top your card up online - however, you can only do this if the card came from Travelex itself - if you get it through one of their outlets (say in Tesco) it CANNOT be topped up online. In addition, the card cannot be topped up with cash by anyone other than the main cardholder AND you can only top it up over the phone with a debit card in the name of the main account holder.

Therefore if anyone wants to have one of these that can be topped up by a parent etc whilst travelling you are stuffed

Avoid like the plague
