I have just got back from Kefalonia . My chip went wrong on one card but luckily had a partner card. The cash point machines ran out of cash so we could not withdraw for two days. Many shops and retsarants do not accept this card. Some require tbe raised numbers by using the old paper method which is not compatible with this card.Holidays are supposed to be stress free. So don't use this card in Kefalonia unless you have a reliable back up source of payment. I will take a risk and use cash next year, losing it is the risk but there is nothing more annoying than taking two weeks out of the year to enjoy with the family and you cannot access your own money!
