First of all, rates were way too bad, but I needed a chip-and-pin card to use it in Europe, so I bought the card online.
I picked it up at a local Travelex store here in Atlanta, and the (only) store clerk was dumb enough to mess info on my profile, so I had to spend about three hours today calling Travelex and being on hold for ~20 minutes at a time. Finally, they fixed the issue, but their website went down, and I was unable to register the card online. After another hour of calling, (or, rather, being on hold) the agent told me that they have "technical difficulties" with their site, and they expect it to be fixed within about 24 to 48 hours(!), which means that to check the balance, upload cash or just see card's activity I have to call them. Needless to say, I will be in Spain by then and besides the fact that it is WERY inconvenient to call Travelex and sit on hold every time, I travel overseas to do something other than be in the hotel, calling them, because, obviously, I cannot use my cellphone. The whole point of buying the card is convenience, which I get none... Buy it if you enjoy taking more risks while traveling, or, rather, use someone else.

We also had a few issues with our cash passport but we purchased a Master card one for our Africa tour. We should have gone with Visa option as they are more widely accepted. Check out www.oetravelblogs.com for reviews and information.
