Plenty of Friends............not relationships.

Firstly I'd like to say that when it comes to POF it's not just a case of it running the gamut of what men are after as the women for want of a better word are just as bad. POF likes to think it's a dating site when in reality it's just somewhere people go to forget about their not so perfect lives and to make very bad attempts at being themselves, why do that when you can be who you like and have far more fun at other people's expense. Escapism is a wonderful thing and if you use the site to make your dull and dreary life that bit more exciting and tolerable then you will soon find that it becomes a drug and you find that you sign on everyday in some naïve hope that there will be a meaningful message waiting for you. I have been on the site for many years so I know what I am saying is true, I have spoken to hundreds if not thousands of people and retained that information so that I can build an unbiased truthful opinion of POF. In a nutshell POF is never going to find you true love unless you get real lucky in the early days of joining because believe me give it a few months if not a few days and you'll be as jaded as the rest of the members and starting to become just like those who first joined the site with good intention but in the end leave despondent or who stay and realise that it's just to be taken with a large pinch of salt . My advice is that if you are really serious about finding a lasting relationship then POF is the last place to go looking for it. If you want to run the gauntlet and mine field that is POF then make sure you've prepared yourself properly for the experience because the words 'frying pan into the fryer' really have been the case for some who have entered this site of masks and smokescreens.
