i joined pof in january and recieved quite a few messages but one stood out. he did nt want to meet for a while as he had a health issue.
we really clicked and spent hrs chatting online. i was a bit concerned about the fact we had nt met but then he went all paranoid and sent me awful messages. i blocked him but it was reallyy upsetting, he got hold of my mobile no and my ex,s and harassed my ex. made up stories and caused untold stress.i had to report it to police and change my number.
the guy is still on there and has more than one profile .really worrying as theres a lot of vulnerable people out there that may get lured in like me.
i dont want to be cynical but it proves any type of person can go on these free sites and a lot worse could happen.
