Match.com www.uk.match.com Review

Signed up for 6 months. I'd say more than 90% of the profiles are dormant (some say they are even fake). Worse still, they bend over backwards to get you into signing up. BEWARE! They have auto-renewals on their subscription and you have to go through about 5 or 6 screens clicking various "cancel", "submit", "are you sure", "confirm", "OK", "do you really want to cancel", "what was that?", "submit again", etc etc. before you have actually cancelled the auto-renewal. Just search online for this, you'll find tens of thousand of intelligent, well meaning people caught out. Their cancellation screens are deliberately misleading.

And if you hoped for any sympathy from Match customer "services", think again! They will not budge despite numerous e-mails, calls and letters. Try to search for their complaints policy...they don't have one. Try to contact the "Online Dating Association"...they will ignore you (lo and behond Match.com have "executives" on the board so probably a scam set up by them). Try to find Match's UK business address...you won't find it. And so on, and so on. Try to find another avenue to contact them, such as by finding any person working for Match.com (eg. on LinkedIn)...try all you want, it seems the entire workforce are too ashamed to admit they work for such a bad company.

It's funny that if you search for "Match.com reviews" online, the first website is a review site...surprise, surprise, on Match.com! They have about 18 good reviews of themselves. Obviously they are trying to block legitimate review sites like this one. And that leaves a nice conclusion...it seems Match.com themselves are only able to find 18 people out of their "millions of members" with something good to say about them! That says it all!!!
