“INDA is a white label promotional release of the BMG...”

INDA is a white label promotional release of the BMG distributed "INDANTE", a wicked 4 song (30min long!) debut from this Canadian remixer/producer.

Alexander (a.k.a "Rum'nTwist") comes from a techie studio background and according to the liner notes, experiments with studio gadgetry much like his idol, BT (Brian Transeau). However, Alexander hasn't yet broken through to the mainstream in his remixing endeavors.

His style is not entirely unique, though has charming characteristics are of many of his influences. Not surprisingly, one such influence is fellow-Canadian technowarpers, Delerium. Infused with mad beats and whirling, whacking, slapping stutter edits (oh so deliciously BT!), Alexander leads off with track 1 "Hype Paradigm" with guest vocalist Anita Sumners (strangly enough, known best as a European fashion model and French actress). The track revolves around incredible Van Dyke styled comps, and BT vocal edits, and delicious effects. An accomplished house anthem in Europe, it should do equally well in North America.

Tracks 2 and 3 are seen as melding interludes in and out of tracks 1 and 4, more than pieces all to themselves. Short pieces, each has a distinct character and theme. Final track 4 is a crazy Crystal Method feeling rockin rowdy bouncin funk break vibe track called "Rhiksha Rant". Crazy 303's and devilish vocal samplings. Naughty but nice. For an 18+ audience, let's just say.

As a producer of rock and pop recordings for many years, his success is measured by four multi-platinum selling albums by the likes of Anika Desmartinez (Belgium); Jessica Hill; Fantasy Nightclub (UK) and Ranta Factions. A dominant force in the studio; a perfectionist to the bone.
