how about this for a excuse not to deliver: "there is a weight restriction of 7.5 tonnes in your street". This does not seem to have been a problem for me or my neighbours having had extensions built in the past. Deliveries of the sand, cement,bricks blocks and equipment which came to much more than 7.5 tonnes. It seems strange that items of less than 7.5 tonnes suddenly is verboten. It would appear that Wickes delivery drivers rule the roost meaning that if they do not feel like delivering will use any excuse not to do it. Why don't they get a job they like?
