Toilet and Cistern both broken when delivered. Both packages were poorly packed and looked like they'd been kicked around the depot. They were sent to my office and didn't have a chance to taken them home for a few weeks.
When I got them home they were both broken so I complained.
9 days later I'd heard nothing so complained again.
Another 9 days later still heard nothing so chased again.
Another 6 days later I phoned and was told:-
"You've got to report any problems within 48 hours of delivery - it's in the contract"
I said there had been a 2 week gap from order to delivery and I couldn't be expected to remember there was a time limit. I said it might have been an idea to remind me of this fact when they knew it had been delivered.
Not interested. Computer says no.
They are perhaps cheap for a reason - BUYER BEWARE
I've now paid £150 for nothing and they aren't interested. They haven't said anything about it taking 5 weeks and 4 separate chases to get any response from them - I guess that must be the norm for their customer service.
