I ordered and paid for a dining table and 6 chairs on 23rd December. On 11th January I was contacted to be told that the table had been discontinued and was no longer available. Because I could not find another table I liked, I asked for my money back and have been told that this will take up to 5 working days, by which time Homebase will have had my money for nearly 4 weeks. Surely this company should be checking they have the ability to deliver stock before they they take money from customers' accounts? None of the staff I have spoken to (and there have been quite a few) seemed the least bit bothered that I have lost time and money because of their inefficiency.
