Received special 20% offer details on selected products by mail. Went to local Eastbourne store and tried to purchase a radiator cabinet, shown in promotional leaflet. Staff said it was out of stock but could be ordered at the regular price.
Then I found the product in store (eh? wasn't it "out of stock"?) and had to show staff their own advertising brochure before they would sell the product at the 20% off price. Staff said they had not been told about the promotional offers and their computerised till showed only standard prices.
Also the staff were dressed in pathetic fancy dress, including a priest with devil-like face make-up. Being Christian I found this somewhat offensive. Maybe they could have used the dressing-up time better by studying their current promotional plans.
This company has got some real problems. Avoid except for simple cash purchases of existing stock as seen.
