“Expensive order mixed up”

Ordered two armourguard boxes that fit together one on top of the other. They are advertised as doing so. I also bought the connector kit. Armourguard did not have both boxes so one has to come from their supplier. The box that goes on top of the first is arriving on one day. And the second box on another day. I'm not sure when the connection plates are arriving. FFX did not communicate with me, that there were two delivery dates. They just made the arrangement without any consultation. Noticed a single delivery notice for one box and was confused Previously I've been happy with this company but I'm not as satisfied with this purchase experience given the lack of consideration and forethought factoring in the cost of these items. Staff communication with me when asking questions has been forcoming and good, but have only been able to apologise for an annoying situation. Hope they get better.

“Poor service,product placement in your basket you...”

FFX used to be good , how things have changed, I made an order on a Saturday for Sunday delivery so I'd be in , all items were "In Stock" completed before there next day delivery cut off time as well, instantly paid. Delivery date was quoited as 3 days later, the night before that I checked nothing had been done about the order at all , so I emailed them to cancel it , on reply they had now picked the items for dispatch so could not cancel ???? Why the hell not, you hadn't sent them , I don't wish to use their services anymore , as to PRODUCT PLACEMENT , this has got to be an illegal process , I lookled at the OX dual rubber 16oz rubber mallet , up jumps an alert sign , a bundle has been added to your basket , over £50 of stuff I didn't want and certainly didn't put in my basket , it also happens every few minutes, you look at something "ALERT A BUNDLE HAS BEEN ADDED TO YOUR BASKET" , the only way you can remove them is to physically take them out one by one , so if you aren't watching and don't notice your basket could have more than doubled in size without you knowing. So they won't let you cancel and they fill your basket with stuff you never put in there , I'LL NEVER USE FFX EVER AGAIN , that's a promise I won't break, thats for sure

“FFX WONT HELP”

I was sent a faulty drill body phoned on monday to geet a swap out was promised Id get it for next day needless to say it never arrived call every day to see where it is FFX Promice next day every day They make no attempt to contact DPD nor do they contact us to say sorry instead make fake promises I This parcel is at the DPD in Port lethan and dpd text me every day to tell me that its being delivered and it never does even sent a pic of the door to say they tryed to deliver 24 hour security sytem disproves that. Also I have someone in every day due to dissability no atempt was made to deliver. Ive been Happy with FFX for years but a simple swap out has turned me off and doupt very much if Ill ever deal with them again so untrue from DPD untrue from FFX .I am disgusted with FFX I am disgusted with DPD thier courier. Dpd sent FFX a copy of a pic of my door Id like to check the meta data on that one.so altogether ive been promised every day id get it next day and still havent recieved the item swap out are you proud of your company FFX? Absolute sham.

UPDATE FFX were kind enough to send me a small gift which was really apreciated the update of this is and the problem was my address the address number was incorectly printed on the label. My Flat number was put down as number F G which should have read Flat G I checked my address on FFX account number My address was correct so I gave the DPD courier a side way evil glance . needless to say DPD blame FFX FFX blame DPD its a simple computer glitch . So I dont know what I can do about it. So blame DPD but looking on the gift that was sent me it arrived 2 days later Guess what the address was printed as F G . DUM DEE DUM DUM mystery continues .

“False advertising ”

I was after a Milwaukee sds drill after looking around saw the 1 that I wanted on ffx site stated it came with grease and a HD box other stockists didn't so went and purchased from ffx even though it was more expensive I wanted Hd box .Item came and no grease or HD box contacted them replacement sent out so put of job for a week replacement came and still missing box and grease contacted ffx again only to be told listing is wrong so I could have saved myself hassle, time and money if gone elsewhere.

“Listing items in stock that they don't have!”

I bought a wall chaser and vacuum that had been out of stock for weeks. I checked FFXs website everyday, as I needed the items for an upcoming rewire. Eventually it said the item was back in stock on their eBay shop and that '17 had been sold almost gone'. It also said 24 hour other delivery. So I immediately bought the item and paid. 3 days later the item had still not arrived, so I messaged the FFX chat and was told that there was a massive delay and that it would be 8 weeks until the item was going to be back in stock. Now I don't mean to be pedantic, but seriously, why list an item back in stock and take payment when it clearly isn't and then say 24 hour delivery! If I hadn't enquired there would have been no communication! It just messes people around and is extremely unprofessional. Any company that back orders stuff to sell that isn't made clear at point of purchase is not worth buying from.

“great until there is a problem”

I have been using FFX for several years as the prices are competitive. The problem with FFX is that when there is a problem with your order then you are left with repeated telephone calls and unanswered emails. My issues are still unresolved.I will be spending my £1000’s elsewhere.

“Don't trust FFX they are not a fair company to deal with”

I bought a £486 product and was given delivery dates by FFX. Nothing had arrived so I chased and was told they are waiting for stock. Still nothing and then I see the product available on their site for nearly £600. They cancelled my order and refunded me. Not a trustworthy company to deal with. Be fair and transparent.  I have bought from another company for a similar amount to the £486. Search in a popular Web based shopping area and you should find the best price.

“They send used unboxed with no instructions or guarantee”

I ordered a DeWalt batter charger & battery. Both were sent wrapped in old bubble wrap with no box, instructions or guarantee. The charger also does not work properly. They said I can send it back at a cost of £15.99. I am now taking this to trading standards. DO NOT BUY from this company.

“Frustrating”

Frustrating service, I will never order a palletised item again from this company. The courier company they use are unreliable, no updates - missed promised delivery. Ended up cancelling order only to be told I will not be refunded until they receive the item back......I never even receive it, so angry!!!!!!!!!

“Charlatans. pure skulduggery!”

I responded to FFX advertisement on ebay for the DEWALT DWS780 MITRE SAW PLUS STAND £779. Item was delivered on 21 August. The packaging was soaking wet and severeley damaged. The leg of the saw was poking through the box, and it was evident (without opening the box), that there was no other packaging inside. The machine had just been placed into the damaged box. Also, there was no stand with the item despite this being a feature of the advertisement. I immediately contacted ebay to start a return and refund. I heard nothing from the seller for a week. I then asked ebay to step in and have now been told I have to wait another 5 days for the seller to respond (almost two weeks todate). Day 4 of the 5 and I am still waiting. I am concerned that this item was advertised as new, however, I do not know of any manufacturer who would package an item of such weight in a box with no internal packaging. My feelings are that this item has been a return/ex display model which FFX have sold to an unsuspecting customer (yours truly)...(£779!). no acknowledgement from FFX whatsoever, no return email, no response at all! absolute Skulduggery! AVOID ENTIRELY.

“Terrible ”

This is the worst company we have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. We bought a compressor from them and within 4 weeks it went bang filled our workshop up with smoke. I called FFX! Was told Sealy would call me to arrange collection. I heard nothing after 4 days I called again and was then told they would chase Sealy. Was then told collection would be Thursday 30th July pm . I took the afternoon off work . Stayed home all afternoon and no one turned up to collect. Called again around 6pm to be told the collection had only just been arranged that very afternoon so collection would have to now be Friday 31st July. Have stayed home from work yet again. The DHL driver arrived and because the compressor was not boxed but wrapped up and tapped up they couldn't take it away. He said he only had 3 mins aloud at our house and left. Have now got hold of FFX AGAIN !!!!! To now be told they will have to come again on Monday 3rd Aug... We have been been treated terribly by this company. Loss of earnings as now 3 days of now work in this current climate. Avoid avoid avoid !!!! AVOID

“Absolutely abysmal service”

Never received order, tried to resolve and spoke with 3 differant staff members on 3 separate days and not one tried to resolve my issue. Never received my order and no refund or resolve offered, just told nothing they can do. I would highly recommend purchasing from other more reliable and helpful stores as from ffx you will receive nothing but poor service and zero satisfaction! Worst company I've dealt with in years. Not a single thing good to say about ffx!

When things go wrong with this company don't expect them to accept that they have made a mistake, or resolve the issue quickly. Their lack of ownership evidenced by the absence of satisfactory follow-up by Senior Management and a failure to honour a commitment made that I will not be dealing with them again. Be warned and look at their overall customer satisfaction rating! If I had done so before placing my order then I would have recognised that they offer poor service & back-up and placed my order elswhere!!!

Dont deal with this mob. After queuing at FFX to pay for close on 5000.00 of tools and all the pushing and shoving that was going on I spoke with an FFX guy who was getting flustered. He said it wasnt a problem just call them this week and place my order on the phone. If need be show them my slips for payments and they would match the prices. Guess what. Called them this morning card in hand and they are trying to get more money out of me by adding circa £ 200.00 to a lot of the items and makes the whole order close on 1 £ 1000.00 more !!!!. Lesson FFX " if you cant stand by what you say dont say it" I will not be treated in this way and will now make my experience widely know. I will also re post this information nearer the time of your show next year. The Paslode guys were great, the Festool guys were great. Just FFX trying to mug people off.

“Poor after sales service”

Having made our order for a Metabo drill that was noted as being in stock, we were then advised after payment had been taken that the item was actually out off stock & we had to wait 3 weeks for it to come. When we did eventually receive it, it broke within the first hour of use. No fault of FFX. I spoke with the METABO UK & they advised they had plenty in stock but I would have to go through FFX which we did. Only problem was they didn't answer our calls or respond to our first few emails. It was only after 2 weeks of phoning & emails did they eventually end up managing to arrange for a new drill to be sent out which took another week to arrive. Overall we are not impressed with any of this after sales service & shall not be intending to use this company again. The tool is not at fault for my dissatisfaction, purely the way we have been dealt with by FFX.

Ordered laser level & two pairs of trousers on 4th Jan,told delivery 6th Jan ,no show.rang again told delivery on 9th,again no show ,ring again trousers not in stock, delivery due out to me on 11th ring back on 10th as lost faith told trousers not in ,order cancelled & refund.come on ffx tell truth on items availability & honest delivery dates as laser level required immediately & can't be messed about any more.
