The first mirror cabinet (£ 139) which I had ordered from the Perth branch of bathstore was delivered, but arrived broken. The Perth staff were efficient and polite in organising a replacement.
I was in the house on the day of the second delivery. I was told in an email that the delivery would take place between 14.26 and 15.26. At 14.31 I got an email saying that they had been unable to deliver the goods, as I was not in.
No bell had been rung and no phonecall had been made. Two cards had been pushed through the letterbox.
I immediately rang the shop to say that I had in fact been in the whole time, and was still in, and would like the driver to come back to deliver the goods. I also rang the courier DPD and made the same point.
Nothing further happened on that day, no delivery, no phonecall. When I rang the Perth shop the next day to cancel my order, I was told that this was 'not a massive incident'. Perth staff insisted that the delivery staff had done a great job.
Avoid bathstore - poor delivery and customer service. Next time I'll got to John Lewis straightaway.

I see that Bathstore offer to " Beat any price " on their website perhaps they could extend that to Beat any delivery service or beat any quality or beat any competitors prompt refund policy or beat any good customer service, etc etc etc .
Reviews on this website report , poor delivery, poor quality, slow refund system taking weeks to get your money back , chrome coming off taps, toilet seat hinges that bubble if urine gets on them , basins with holes in the wrong place , come on Bathstore read these comments and pull your socks up !!
Better stll Joe public , buy brand named goods from companies who perform better than this , a lot of goods Bathstore sell are made exclusively for them in the far east as unbranded goods and if Bathstore should cease trading where are you going to get replacement parts from ?
Brand named goods are available from many different suppliers so if one supplier ceases to trade you can go easily find another supplier for replacement parts like cistern lids, seat hinges, cistern fittings etc

LetsBeHonest what if any of these brand labels cease trading? It doesn't matter how many people stock them, if they go bust you still won't be able to get spare parts etc, will you? So really all these companies you speak of are no different to Bathstore in that respect..... just thought i'd put that out there, as I know you will be expecting a response from me.
