“Rude and awkward service at the Medway B&Q. ”

If you want to experience the rudest , awkward and indifferent service then go and get a a board cut at B&Q Medway. My experience on Friday 31st July at 16.35 was as follows: I rang the bell (for cutting) and waited for four minutes before an assistant , an ear-ringed male aged about 46 (who's name rhymes with berry) arrived. His demeanour made it clear that he did not want to be disturbed. I asked to buy a sheet of 8'x4' of their best quality 18 mm ply (they do shuttering grade , a better quality seven or nine ply , and, a now discontinued ,excellent quality architectural grade ply). His response was to say that he had no idea of the types of ply that was stocked. On pressing him further this proved to be a ruse, so as to be as awkward as possible. We took the first sheet from the stack over to the cutter only to find that it was warped. Carrying it back to the stack he purposefully dropped his end trying to make it difficult for me to drag it with his end now on the floor. the rest of the cutting of the board carried on in the same vein. I will stop as by now you have an idea of the nastiness and awkwardness of this individual and it is highly unlikely that this review will be published as the site is monitored by B&Q.
