I bought a set of cutlery from William Turner way back in 1997 approx and I claimed on their lifetime guarantee early in 2013 for several knives that had a small problem with their handles. It did take a long time to get things resolved and it was almost impossible to contact the company BUT everything worked out in the end and replacements were sent through to me for absolutely no cost. There can only be a very few guarantees that work to such a degree.
