as a kid many bags of the Cheese & Onion were scoffed as they were just right & were a pleasing crisp, together with Rancheros, Discos & the like.
But the 2012 revived version is not pleasant. The body of the crisp tastes horrible & melts to nothing. Sniff a newly opened bag & it doesn't smell nice.
The Cheese flavour is pretty much as it was once you add some salt, but much less of it, in the old ones the bag bottom was full of the flavour dust which got eaten too for a huge flavour hit
Bought these twice in hope of being wrong & scoffing 4 tiny bags in a row leaves one not feeling good.
I contacted GW & told them my opinion. To see them heavily discounted next time on online Tescos it appears others aren't buying them again.
What a shame.

Cheese & Onion Ringos were my favourite back in the seventies and I fondly remember the 'bomb' of flavour dust in the bottom! It was like a cake of powder that hadn't been crumbled into the packet properly - it was the best bit.
I also remember a curry flavoured Ringo which was equally as delicious but this came later on probably early eighties.
