I logged in fine no problem. Similar to another review I also used a credit card to register. I've been at my current address for less than 3 years so a previous address was also used. Fairly basic information although what's there seems to be accurate. Not sure I agree with their rating of 4/5 based on previously purchasing credit reports and being rated 99/99. Nevertheless its free. It seems they try to make their money by offering other services to you that you pay for. (read more)

Sign up didn't work first time. If you use a debit card it won't work, this is because of your banks card restrictions not theirs. After realising this I used a current credit card and it worked. At the time of signing up to this I ran an Experian report and an Equifax one. Both showed all accounts but NOT all searches which are considered when applying for credit. Noddle showed all searches. New to credit reports but for a free service it gives you all your accounts, their balances and dates, searches were done on you and by whom, any store cards you have. It gives a basic credit estimation (x/5). It shows all payments you made to your credit cards, too! Basic, mine showing 1/5 only (bad?) but all greed and no apparent problem. Dont even waste your time entering the data, I am 100% credit history clean, I have used Experian with no problems and have 40 years good credit history and 10 years of stable address and Twaddle would not even create an account for me saying it could not verify my details. (read more)

my husband and I have both tried to register 3 times each- following on line instructions just to be told at the end after providing all of my personal contact details and credit card details that they are unable to create an account. the generic reasons goven for this dont apply to us. higely frustrating and I notice others have posted the same problem. Right on needing to check my credit score for a impending credit application I signed up to experian to check my credit report what a waste of time that was. The information they hold on me was over 1.5 years old with only my old credit accounts shown. So I decided to try noddle especially cos it's free as well thought it couldn't hurt. on noddle in the top left of the screen it gives you a score of 1 to 5 while i understand it is not as accurate maybe as other credit scoring companys i found that it was useful none the less.

I am on the electoral roll, I have been at the same address for over 13 years, my bank don't have any trouble contacting me, but Noddle couldn't verify my details. Having used Experian and Equifax with no problems I decided to give Noddle a try, primarily because it was free. Having gone through the filling in of all the information they required I was told that they were "unable to verify my details". This was followed by a non exhaustive list of reasons why, non of which applied to my circumstances. I contacted Noddle via their email link and received a reply back which just re-iterated what their blurb had stated at the registration stage. No offers... (read more)

I have had the same problem.Ifilled a on-line application in,and then aeaited an email with my pin number,nothing,tried ringing only to be met by an automated voice message which was of no help at all.Iam already with Credit Experia and was thinking of a change but this has made me change my mind,if this is the way noddle performs,i might be better off.

Right. I've just spent the evening trying to get my credit rating after being refused a pay monthly mobile contract with VM (for £12 a month!!). They said that Equifax gave a "no" answer on their computer, and that I should check with them if I had an issue with that. For those (like myself) who have a healthy distrust of the "FREE now cancel within 30 day model" this was a fantastic way of finding out the state of my affairs. I then took a £2 statutory report from one of the big 2 some weeks later once i started to get things back on track and found the NODDLE reports covered the basics with 100% accuracy. I can't fault such a service and should be recommended to all. (read more)

I signed up with noddle quite a while ago, when I had little credit, and it's credit score said that I was in moderate shape (3/5). I checked it a little while later and found that my score had gone down to 2/5 and sometime later 1/5. I then went to get a loan and was told that I am actually in moderate shape and that noddle was incorrect. In exactly the same situation. No late payments over 6 years, all accounts up to date, but a 1/5 rating from Noddle. People say it doesn't matter but a lot of "soft" credit checks for cards without leaving a footprint use Noddle.

Signed up, did not take noodle advice to allow their website access, and then found the verification E-mail in my delete box the following day - lesson learnt. My credit rating showed 3/5 even though a experian wesite gave me 999 out of 1000! All my history on the noodle account showed I was good. The only way I could see how to improve my score was to sign up to a payed 'service'. I will have to write to them.............. (read more)

This is the first time I've got my own credit check as I object to paying for it on principle. The application was easy and straightforward and within minutes I'd downloaded my full credit reference report. The detail provided was in line with the 'mock' example reports obtainable from the better known agencies. i signed upto noddle and it gave me a rating of 2/5 and showed no debts owing and that all payments to my bank for loans and credit cards for several years had green markers indicating okay. a month or so later i logged in and my rating has now gone down to 1/5 and no explanation or reasons given!!!!!! I absoutely agree with this.
Equifax which is probably the most respected credit reference agency in the United Kingdom gave me a credit score of excellent in a recent credit report as there are no defaults whatsoever on my credit file over the past six years recording 14 bank accounts (some which are settled) which is impeccable in every respect. Noddle scores my credit rating as 1/5 which is "poor" for the same financial data.
Then Noddle advertises next to this "poor" credit score, several "rip-off" offers from credit card companies suggesting to me the consumer that these are the only creditors which might offer me credit facilities despite my impeccable credit history.
Noddle is part of Call Credit and I would rate this credit reference agency as slow, ineffecient and cumbersome when dealing with consumer issues with staff demonstrating a poor knowledge of consumer credit law.
I hope that creditors will stick to Equifax and Experian rather than Call Credit even if Call Credit might be "cheaper" for conducting credit searches as there is something very unreliable about the way in which Call Credit determines the credit score of individuals. The scoring is highly unfair and simply directed towards promoting "rip-off" credit cards on the market for Noddle partners.

please use this site if you need to check history. i had been advised to but was unsure because of the *free for life* description. it showed me information i needed to know, any defaults, amount of bank/ credit cards etc. it gives you a score from 1 to 5 of credit worthiness. i had been advised to also use experian a long with noddle as they could show different information. noddle i believe is something to do with callcredit which is a known site. so try noddle, you will get... I was skeptical after reading other reviews but this site is the real deal was really accurate and easy to understand, and offers on loans and cards I can get. Also offers a credit improvement for £20 for 12 months which I think is fair due to the fact you get everything else free. A bit disappointed in my credit rating but not noddle's fault.
