I only got Identity Guard after my ex and I had gotten a divorce. I was worried that my personal info, which she obviously knew after a few years, to open up lines of credit in my name. This never happened, but after about 2 months, I decided to get KIDSure just in case she tried to open an account under our daughter's name.
Lo and behold, she had already done so. Luckily, it was only a cell phone account and was easily fixed. The bill hadn't had much time to grow, so I paid it off and shut down the account. ID Guard has been continuously watching my and my daughter's credit ever since, and after finding out that she was discovered by ID Guard, I'm pretty sure my former spouse won't be trying anything fishy again.
