“66% increase in monthly fees by default - crooks!”

I had been a member of Creditexpert for many years paying £5.99 per month. In November 2012 I received notification by email that the monthly fee would be increased to £9.99 by default unless I elected to opt out - I tried the opt out button which didn't work for me. I complained to no avail. I eventually decided to terminate my membership. I believe they intentionally made it difficult, if not impossible, to opt out of their huge increase in monthly fees. Another bunch of crooks who claim in their advertising to be "The UK's most trusted credit monitoring service" which speaks volumes about the UK
