Villa Soudada in Dunas Dorado, despite the tired kitchen, was beautiful. The garden, pool, terraces, sitting room and bedrooms 1 & 2 could not be faulted. The views across gardens and trees to the beach, from the upstairs terrace, were stunning. It was perfect for the multi-generation holiday we had. Sun Hat staff were responsive and did their best to be helpful. HOWEVER dust and noise from nearby demolition work was not conducive to the quiet, relaxing holiday we clearly stated we were looking for. The owners didn’t seem to care that much … offering a small percentage off the Villa if we rented again this year. SADLY, NO THANKS. Numerous lovely old style villas were in the process of being demolished, or were just sat waiting for their turn. It will be sometime before this, and neighbouring streets, return to being quiet, established and rather lovely locations.

We booked a 5 Bedroom Villa on the Algarve for May with 10 people traveling. The booking procedure with Sun Hat was excellent apart from the fact I received no reminder for my final payment and I have noted another client mentioned this in a review.The Villa was exactly as described and was set in a lovely location. There were a few minor problems that I feel should be mentioned if only to polish up the service provided by Sun Hat. 1. The directions provided to the Villa were wrong. 2. A Representative for Sun Hat visited the Villa on the first day at the same time as we were signing for Hire Cars and so what she informed us about was rushed due to dealing with the Hire cars. ( she could have waited) 3. We had the following problems at the Villa, Safe not working in room and Air Conditioning not working in one Bedroom Staff did attend to this but contrary to their view they fixed both they did not.Finally the Television developed a fault which was reported at 9am on the day only for me to receive many telephone calls at around 5pm when we were out asking when I could return. The to add to this days later a Man appeared at the Villa with a new Television stating I should have been informed to be there at 2pm that day. The following day the Representative again visited and on informing her of the problems she stated I should have been contacting her not the local Office. The following day I attempted to contact her and the phone number provided was out of use.The only annoying issue was the Villa it would appear had had a name change but the old name left on the entrance and so we had Taxi's we booked very confused. These minor problems ( apart from Air conditioning)did not detract from a excellent Holiday and I know Sun Hat were genuine with their efforts to make the holiday great, just needs a bit of polishing up.

To add further my deposit for any damages was returned to me before the agreed date and the company investigated all my comments.
