A fabulous week with brilliant weather, stunning views and the best house we've ever stayed in. The proff of the pudding is that we booked for next Easter while still there! (read more)

Spent 4 nights in January and would you believe it the weather was fantastic. My wife and I were looking for something a bit special and we certainly hit the mark here. We wanted an outdoor hot tub with a sea view, a large internal bath if the weather was foul, which it wasn't. We also wanted a quiet relaxing location in a degree of luxury. This is certainly luxury set in a fantastic location. Only down side was having to leave. We will definitely be back and hopefully soon. This is... (read more)

We had a wonderful short break here in November 2012. The views are spectacular and the house is really well equipped. Thoroughly recommend taking the hot tub regardless of the weather - there is something fabulous about being in it in the snow! The sauna afterwards heated up the bones as did the wonderful log burning stove. We will definitely be back sometime in 2013. (read more)

Just returned from a family get together using Stac Polly and Locholly houses. The comfortable surroundings and many luxuries make this a perfect retreat to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Stunning views from the house or hot tub. We watched all weathers - rain , snow, wind and sun in one week ! We have already recommended this location to friends and family and would definitely like to return. Stac Polly cottage (next door) is in a truly beautiful location where rest and relaxation can be found! The cottage is stunning. Surround sound and wifi exceptional. The views out of the huge windows were fabulous. Deserted beach just 4m away was perfect for our dogs to run free into the waves. Other highlights were forest trails as Lael. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming in such a beautiful place in th uk. The north west highlands is a must see location for all. We had lovely... (read more)

We stayed at Locholly for a week arriving on 3/08/12. From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen a magical place. We have stayed in many five star cottages and this has to be one of the best we have ever rented! We arrived about 7pm on a lovely sunny day to the most amazing clear views and that set the tone for the rest of our stay. There were only 3 of us plus our dog and everyone loved it - the hot tub was a great and the very comfortable lounge was a joy to come back to after a day... (read more)

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Locholly lodge. The weather was very kind to us, and our 2 young girls and 2 dogs had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the house, hot tub and suana, as well as the wonderful surroundings, in particular the beach and the wild deer that showed up in the fields nearby on a regular basis. Unfortunately the hot tub broke down in the second week, but we were immediately offered a full refund for the hot tub costs as compensation, and every effort was made to repair as... (read more)

What an amazing cottage with the most stunning views! Cottage was pure luxury and very comfortable and I like very much indeed how we were able to take out 2 Westies. Cottage made an excellent base with loads to do and see! Our highlight of our week was climbing Stac Polly, just breathtaking and a must do. Low point was The Smokehouse - couldn't get parked and not due to visitors but staff and shop was poorly stocked! My only small complaint with the cottage was that I felt the fridge,... (read more)

Thank you for your feedback, have passed on your comments about the early arrival, we just like to make sure the hot tub is ready and checked in the morning to make sure all the chemicals are spot on. Have also taken note about the fridge etc and passed onto our team.

We stayed at Stac Polly cottage which is next door to Locholly Lodge and identical. We needed a real relaxing break and that's exactly what we got. The hot tub and sauna were perfect after some of the wonderful walks we did. Saw loads of wildlife including dolphins, seals and a otter! We are already planning our holiday next year for July, keep up the great work. The landscaping is young which is to be expected for new properties, looking forward to seeing how it all looks after a year.... (read more)

What a fantastic house, like home from home. The rooms are so comfy, the views are incredible and the hot tub and sauna were a real treat. We stocked up at tesco in Ullapool which we would recommend. Our only slight negative is that on check out day at 9.50am the cleaners are queued up outside, which is not relaxing!! We did not expect this in such a luxurious house. We would highly recommend this house to friends and I'm sure we will return. (read more)

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Locholly and already I am checking the booking availability for our next stay! The house is absolutely amazing and the views are stunning , especially from the hot tub! We had such a relaxing time with our grown up kids and their partners plus Jack Russels,Lola and Olly who had an absolute ball. The weather was kind to us with some bright blue skies and sunshine - the very best weather to view the amazing scenery. Even the odd rain shower did not... (read more)
